Blackram Narrows 6-man Dungeon

Blackram Narrows is located in the Viridian Coast Zone. Check out the map below for more info.

Upon entering, work your way forward over the bridge killing everything in your way until you reach the first mini boss which is:

As you can probably tell Du is a Force Blader, he will use ice attacks against you & has one aoe which can outright freeze you for a few seconds if you stand in it when it takes effect. The aoe has a long charge though and is very easily avoidable just by moving away from him.

After killing Du, head through the door, jump down and again just follow the path and you will come to the next minoboss.

Dai is a Kung-fu Master & pretty easy to kill. Just watch out for his counter and beat him down. After he’s dead, continue forwards killing any mobs along the way and you will come to the first main boss in this area. On the right hand side near the boss area you will see:

This is called a Dragon coil or Dragon hearts. They are basically like extra lives and bring you back to life if you die. Note that dragon coils are not available in the 4 man version of this dungeon. Moving on the first main boss is pictured below.

Enforcer Ma Parang is a Kung-fu Master. He has a few one sided aoe attacks as well as some annoying grabs and stuns. Most of them are pretty visible though so they can be avoided fairly easily. A few things to note:

·Kill all the trash mobs in the surrounding area before you begin fighting him, it makes the fight a little easier.

·He spawns mobs as the fight progresses, kill them accordingly.

·The loot he drops includes soul shield pieces, food & weapons and accessories.

Once he’s dead you can go into the next area by going through the purple portal. At the starting of the next area simply follow the bridge up and kill the trash mobs. You will encounter a force blader. Note that he will windwalk away from you when he’s down to around 30% ish hp. After this the next mini boss will become active:

Whipi is pretty easy to kill. His aoe skills are very easy to dodge by simple movement, kill him and then carry on moving forwards.

As you continue to progress you will run into a few ‘groups’ of trash mobs, try to pick them off rather than gathering them all together as they are much easier to kill this way. You will come up against another force blader who again will windwalk away when he’s at around 50% ish hp. Follow the bridge up and you will come to the next miniboss:

One is a Kung-fu Master & the other is a Force blader. I tend to go for the magic types first but i don’t think it matters really. The force blader also has the aoe skill which can freeze you so just be cautious of that. After they’re dead carry on further up the bridge to the next main boss.

Wun Gwangyi is a Blademaster so she possesses the typical Blademaster skills such as block & a few aoe’s. Her main skill is a charge up aoe (you will know when you see it) which can deal a lot of damage so be sure to try and stun her before she gets that off. Remember the 2 force bladers that ran off? Well, here they are guarding their captain. I like to kill them first as they can be quite annoying. Wun drops similar loot to the first main boss.

One other thing to note is as soon as Wun dies, a group of trash mobs spawn near the entrance to the next area. Be sure to fight away from there if you do not want the instant aggro. Once everythings dead and you’re happy, proceed through the purple portal and into the next area for the final boss.

There is no fighting involved here until you get to the boss so just run up and there will be a little cut scene. Once this is over, run to edge and you will now be able to see the last boss.

Gubong has 2 forms, the one in the picture is his first. Once everybody is ready go ahead and start beating him down. His skill range includes, a grab you cannot block (he generally targets the person with the most aggro) one big aoe attack – this is a charge up aeo and can be dodged very easily, a one sided aoe attack (again dodges easily) and also a jump attack where he goes up into the air and lands on whoever he has targeted. Just stay vigilant if you have his aggro as 1 or 2 hits could do some serious damage.

Once he’s dead, there will be another small cut scene and he will appear again in his second form.

TIn this form as The Devourer, Gubong possesses all the skills as he did in his first one with an added ‘charge’ skill. Basically all he does is start swinging his weapon & then charge forward in the direction he is facing. This does a lot of damage so you must try and get out of the way if he is heading in your direction.

So just avoid his attacks, beat him down & once he’s dead the dungeon is complete & you are teleported into a previous zone where you can get your loot.

To get the dungeon completion loot you will need to make sure your quest tab is open on the right. Under the quest name itself you will see a small chest and it will say ‘click to claim reward’. Do that and you should receive ‘devourers chest’ & in it will be your reward.

If you’re doing the quest for the first time during the day, don’t forget to pick up the ‘daily quest’ outside the entrance.
