 Tomb of Exiles

6-man dungeon

The Tomb of Exiles consists of 3 ‘main’ bosses, 2 mini-bosses & an optional boss (spawns randomly) Below I have highlighted the boss battles so you can get a rough idea of what to expect before you enter.

The Tomb of Exiles is located in the Cinderlands Coast Zone. Check out the map below for more info.

Once you enter, jump all the way down and follow the path right. You will encounter groups of various trash mobs along the way including: Kung-fu masters, Blademasters, Force bladers, ranged mobs with cannons & also ‘captains’ who have more hp & deal more damage than the other mobs around them. In general you should probably focus on taking out the ranged & Force bladers first as they can deal a lot of damage and are very annoying when spamming their ice based attacks. Take breaks in between fights, try not to pull too many mobs at the same time and you should be fine.

The path is easy to follow so just carry on mowing down trash mobs and you will eventually come to the first main boss.

The big guy Underboss Bi Chunhan is a Forceblader & his sidekick Lak Rin is a Kung-fu master. Get your tank to aggro the big guy and quickly beat down the KFM or alternatively just spam aoe’s until he is dead. Chunhan will use ice based forceblader attacks against you and has one aoe attack ‘Frost Prison’ which will freeze you out right. He can deal a lot of damage so if you find yourself struggling or taking a beating, stop hitting him, kite if you can and let someone else take the aggro while you heal up. For loot he drops weapons or accessories (depends on whether its 6 or 4 man), soul shield pieces and food. Once he’s dead, follow the path down around and into the next area.

When you arrive in the next area one key thing you must do is move together. As you progress you will notice ‘fire barriers’ appearing which block you from going back. If you go ahead alone and leave the rest of your team behind and the barrier appears you are essentially trapped.  You will have to kill all the mobs in that section alone. Only then will the barriers drop thus allowing your team to re-join you. Trying to run through the fire barrier will kill you instantly.

With that in mind, carry on killing shit and you will eventually come to the first mini-boss.

The Shaman will spawn trash mobs throughout the fight. He has 2 aoe attacks, the first one is like a poison cloud which will of course do damage over time if you are caught in it and the other is a knock down. The area around him will go red or green him depending on which attack he uses (green is the poison one) so they are quite easily avoidable. Once he’s dead move on carry on going forwards as a group and you will run into a small area where you are ‘boxed in’ so to speak with fire barriers. All you have to do here is kill the 2 waves of trash mobs (they spawn together) and you can proceed.  Turn the corner, kill 2 more guys and it’s boss time again.

The big guy Underboss Shin Mugang is a destroyer and has one very annoying skill. He regenerates his HP throughout the whole fight. Along with this he has 2 annoying attacks. One is a kneebutt which stuns you & the other is a one sided aoe attack with knocks you over (both are avoidable if you move quick enough). If any of these hits you and you do not break the CC right away, he will grab you and do some extra damage. But thats not everything! Although you can’t see in the screenshot, there are 2 lion statues on either side of the room. Sadly, they are not just for show – when he reaches around 75% one will spawn and 50% for the other.

The hardest part of this fight is keeping his hp-regen to an absolute minimum. Make sure his guards are dead before you unleash your most powerful attacks & try to make sure he is always being hit. Kiting is not good here so even if you think you might die do as much dps as you can before going out. For loot he drops the same stuff as the first main boss.

When he is dead just follow the path and you will come to room with a big drop. From the edge, if you look to your left you will notice a lever and if you look right you will see a sealed entrance.

Using the lever will open the door. In there there is a chance for an optional ‘spider boss’ to spawn. From around 100 runs or so i have only encountered him about 8-10 times. If he is not there, simply jump all the way to the bottom and head into the next area.

When there move forwards as a group and you will be able to see the next mini-boss.

Don’t get too close to the fire behind him as one touch will kill you instantly. During the fight statues around the area will come to life as trash mobs so do your best to kill him as fast as possible as they will disappear once he is dead. He has one very strong aoe attack in which he starts punching the ground. It is highly recommended that you move out of the way completely when he does this as it does A LOT of damage. Other than that & his basic attacks, the rest are pretty easy to avoid.  Once he is dead proceed forwards, there will be a short cut scene & you are now at the final boss of the dungeon.

If you find yourself low on hp, run around and kite him until you can pop another potion. You are more than likely to die (if doing it at level & not with the help of 45+) if this happens whoever has aggro should move far away from you as possible so you can try and resurrect using chi.

Just try and keep your health up in general, do not let is go too low as one mistake can get you killed. Once he’s dead, congratulations the dungeon is now complete and you can get your end rewards!

If you’re doing the quest for the first time during the day, don’t forget to pick up the ‘daily quest‘ outside the entrance.

To get the dungeon completion loot you will need to make sure your quest tab is open on the right. Under the quest name itself you will see a small chest and it will say ‘click to claim reward’. Do that and you should receive ‘infernal lords chest’ & in it will be your reward.
